A Walk In Mueller State Park

A Walk In Mueller State Park

Well, since I’ve already voted there wasn’t any reason to stay glued to the idiot box, watching one negative political ad after another. And since I can’t do anything about Hurricane Sandy — other than keep my fingers crossed that it doesn’t cause as much damage to property and harm to life as predicted — I figured that if you’ve seen one TV reporter being smashed by wind, rain and sand you’ve pretty much seen it all.

Too bad the Cleveland Browns weren’t on TV here. I’m sure that would have been exciting. LOL

Sorry, I digress.

So I went Sunday afternoon for a long walk in Mueller State Park.

Mueller is one of the many state parks that dot the landscape throughout Colorado. But it’s the one closest for me, about a 20 minute drive from Woodland Park.

And with about 5,000 acres set aside for hiking, mountain biking, camping and rubbernecking, not a bad way to spend an afternoon in the late fall.
